Summer 2010 Events Scroll down for summer time trial information Bill Meyer Biathlon Camp, June 17-20, 2010 at Kincaid Park: Bill Meyer, Minnesota Biathlon shooting coach The 17th and 18th will be for the more experienced biathletes with Saturday the 19th available for all new comers as well as the more experienced. There will be training on the 20th along with a race in the afternoon.
The camp culminates in a race on Monday evening. Although the competition is fierce among the advanced athletes, everyone wins since they show improvement from the start of the clinic. Bill Meyer, a Biathlon coach from Minnesota, has traveled to Alaska to conduct a 2-4 day biathlon camp for many summers. Bill splits the participants into beginning and advanced athletes. Beginning biathletes spend their mornings learning the introduction information to the intricacies of range conditions and procedures. Experienced biathletes provide expertise to novices when Bill is occupied coaching individuals. Advanced athletes assist the newer athletes in the mornings and spend their afternoons receiving tips and pointers from Bill.
