We’re done for the 2009/2010 season.

Last groom April 30.

That’s over 150 days of grooming this year – a 20% increase over last year. Stay tuned for more interesting statistics.

This was all possible thanks to NSAA member donations. Thanks folks!

Chugach State Park

Remember these trails are multi-use – walkers, runners, and dogs are welcome there.

Special Notice: Winter bikers can obtain a special use permit to ride on trails normally closed to bicycles (Middle Fork Trail to name one). State Parks will be evaluating their impact on the State Park trail system.  Chugach State Park Director welcomes comments and feedback from NSAA members and skiers regarding winter biking in The Chugach. Please give feed back to Tom Harrison.

If you are skiing in Chugach State Park, remember that the trails are multi-use trails and that dogs are allowed off leash 100 feet from the parking lot.  Be courteous and beware!  Cars need a current State Park sticker or plan to pay the $5 daily Park fee.  Park stickers are for sale at AMH and REI or on the internet at: https://dnr.alaska.gov/parks/Passes.cfm.
