Board and Committees
Welcome to the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage’s (NSAA) website. NSAA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy form of individual and family activity.
The Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage (NSAA) Board of Directors is actively seeking motivated, diverse, and experienced new individuals to join our leadership team. If you…..

are motivated to help NSAA raise money and continue growing to best serve Anchorage’s Nordic ski and trail user community
We’re especially interested in individuals who:
Have been leaders of nonprofit boards before and are ready to bring their skills and insights to another organization
Have expertise in accounting or finance, especially nonprofit accounting practices
Are experienced fundraisers
Have nonprofit management or business management experience
Email us at presidentanchoragenordicski.com if you are interested in joining us!
Since the 1960’s NSAA has been introducing Alaskans to cross country skiing through learn-to-ski programs, backcountry tours, citizen and student ski races, and the popular Ski Train. Voluntary membership and donations have allowed NSAA to build, groom and maintain over 130-kilometers of spectacular world class trails in Anchorage. Dedicated volunteers support the thrilling sports of biathlon and Nordic ski jumping.
We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
Board Meetings are usually the fourth Thursday of the month at 6:15 pm. Locations will vary, so please check here or call the NSAA office. They are typically over by 8 pm and everyone is welcome.
