NSAA has a cozy A-frame cabin available to rent to its members. The cabin is located in the historic community of Hope, just a short drive from Anchorage. There is year round fun close by on the Resurrection Pass Trail, Gull Rock Trail, and the Palmer Creek area. Great location to gather friends and family for outdoor fun.

Reservations: Check the online calendar to see when it is available, then submit your reservation and payment online. One reservation per transaction at this time. If you wish to book another cabin reservation, you will need to make a separate transaction. Check out time is Noon. 

Keys & Directions: Stop by the NSAA office the week before your rental to get the key and directions. 

Cost: Current NSAA members only - $50 per night. We accept: VISA, MC, Discover and AMEX.

Refund Policy: To receive a refund, a letter of cancellation must be postmarked or emailed according to the following policy:
a) Within 2 weeks of the rental: full refund minus $15 processing fee
b) Within 1 week of the rental: half refund minus $15 processing fee
c) Within 24 hours of the rental: no refund

Amenities: A generous, long-time volunteer Golda Whittaker donated this cabin to the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage at the time of her death. The cabin is 16’ by 16’ and comfortably sleeps 4 or 5. The first floor has two padded bench seats that double as beds, a wood stove, propane lantern and two burner Coleman stove and table for four. There is an upstairs loft, accessible by a sturdy ladder. The cabin has a covered porch, a clean outhouse and plenty of firewood.  Cabin is located on a quiet road on a wooded ½ acre lot. You can drive right to the front door.

What to bring: We suggest you bring food, sleeping bags, propane and drinking water. 

Pets: NSAA asks that all members who bring their dogs to the cabin have them on-leash at all times while in the neighborhood around the cabin. In addition to having your dog on leash, please remember to clean up after your dog, both inside and outside the cabin.
