KINCAID PARK - Race Venue

Located adjacent to the Anchorage International Airport and a 15-minute drive from downtown Anchorage, Kincaid Park offers 60 kilometers of groomed ski trails. The week-long competition will be centered at the stadium area of Kincaid with a newly-constructed sprint loop and enhanced competition trails. Athletes and coaches will have access to the athlete village and waxing compound at Kincaid. Families and spectators can relax between races and enjoy concessions in the Kincaid Chalet.

CEREMONIES & BANQUET

Downtown Anchorage will be the center of ceremonies where we will honor and celebrate the achievements of our nation’s finest young athletes. The beautiful Alaska Center for the Performing Arts will host the opening and mid-week ceremonies. The Final Awards Ceremony and Banquet will be held at the Egan Convention Center. Located just two blocks away is the Official Hotel of the 2008 Junior Olympics – The Westmark Hotel [MAP].

COST FOR EVENTS

All events are free – no ticket necessary. Family members are welcome to attend the final awards ceremony for free.  A limited number or tickets for the final banquet dinner preceding the awards presentation at the Egan Center will available at the merchandise table. Cost is $30.
