Course & Distance

All races start and finish in the stadium at Chugiak High School.  The first km covers the renovated Christy Loop near Birchwood Elementary, then runs thru the tunnels, and proceeds generally counter-clockwise around the Beach Lake trails located across the roadway. The race course meanders through the beautiful Beach Lake trails passing numerous junctions. Keep your head up and don’t miss your turn! The 15k course consists of two laps around the 7.5k course with a by-pass loop around the stadium area. Maps will be posted at the registration site and are also available on-line.

Volunteers

The AMH Anchorage Cup ski races would not be possible without help from volunteers like you. All race officials and organizers are unpaid volunteers. To keep citizen racing alive and well, all racers should plan to help out at least one race of the series at registration, course marking or course clean-up. Non-racers can help at timing, bib-pickup and feed stations for longer races. Please call the race organizers to offer help or just ask how you can help during registration and bib-pickup.
