Beneficiaries
Over the past several years, the Alaska Ski for Women has donated close to $800,000 to local community, non-profit organizations helping to stop the cycle of domestic abuse against women and children. This strong, financial support is made possible by Ski for Women donors, participants, merchandise and silent auction sales.
The following are a few of the recent organizations the Ski for Women is proud to have supported from the proceeds of the event.

Girls Circle and Boys Council Program: Weekly program for girls and boys that focuses on developing resiliency, increasing self-esteem and the ability to make healthy relationship decisions. |
All current and future grant proposals must meet the following criteria:
- Recipient is a local nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
- Provides services to women and children helping to stop the cycle of domestic abuse.
- Said services raise women and children’s self-esteem, and gains physical and emotional well being through a healthy lifestyle.
