WHO ARE WE?
Welcome to the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage’s (NSAA) website. NSAA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy form of individual and family activity.
Since the 1960’s NSAA has been introducing Alaskans to cross country skiing through learn-to-ski programs, backcountry tours, citizen and student ski races, and the popular Ski Train. Voluntary membership and donations have allowed NSAA to build, groom and maintain over 130-kilometers of spectacular world class trails in Anchorage. Dedicated volunteers support the thrilling sports of biathlon and Nordic ski jumping.
NSAA membership has its benefits - relax in our cozy rental cabin, apply for a NSAA college scholarship, receive discounts at NSAA events and receive the satisfaction of supporting some of the finest Nordic skiing in the world. Each winter the season fun begins the first weekend in November at our annual membership meeting, potluck and ski swap at Kincaid Park.
Please explore our website and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
